Did you know there are seals in the Mediterranean? There is only one species; the Mediterranean monk seal Monachus monachus; one of the most endangered marine mammals on Earth. If you are lucky and encounter any in the Ionian Islands, we want to hear about it. Please, be particularly careful and follow our very basic guidelines for the seals’ safety (… and yours!).
