Myron Papadopoulos, born in South Africa, is a biology student at the University of Sydney. His main interest is combining conservation/ restoration biology with marine biology. He will be participating in the IDP this summer as research-assistant.
Myron has always had a passion for the biological world and the ocean, but his main interests in marine life and conservation were ignited during his studies. He has completed a Vets-in-the-Wild course, which entailed gaining hands on experience in game capture, and working alongside wildlife and domestic vets. Last year, he volunteered for the IDP which intensified his passion to work with cetaceans. Myron holds a SSI Open Water Diver license and speaks fluent English and is proficient in Greek.
